GM's position to be advertised
Parramatta City Council has resolved to advertise the position of general manager in February. It is understood that the current GM, John Neish, may not reapply for the position
Restrictions
The Minister for Primary Industries, Ian Macdonald, has left restrictions in place on fishing in the western half of Sydney Harbour, saying dusky flathead and fan-belly leatherjackets could be fished in the eastern half, after two years of being banned or heavily restricted
Major Sydney city centre
Tghe revitalisation of the Liverpool CBD as one of Sydney's major city centres and the identification of Campbelltown as a major centre would allow positive healthy jobs growth, the government said in a press release on Implementing the Metropolitan Strategy in the South-West subregion, comprising Camden, Campbelltown, Liverpool and Wollondilly councils.
