Parramatta. $70 million tower approved

Parramatta City Council has approved the construction of Eclipse, a 20-storey commercial building containing ground-floor retail tenancies over two levels of basement parking. on the corner of Hassall and Station streets, opposite the Commercial Hotel. The estimated cost of construction is $70 million

Parramatta. Project increase to 21 storeys

An application has been made to Parramatta City Council for alterations and additions to an approved 17-storey, mixed-use development, at 9 Hassall Street, Parramatta. Alterations include the construction of four additional residential levels bringing the total number to 21 storeys, containing 23 additional apartments, bringing the total to 421.

Westmead. $41 million school expansion

Council has received an application for the construction of a new primary school for 420 pupils, construction of a 50-place out-of-school-hours centre and a 90-place long-day care centre and the demolition, tree removal refurbishment as well as alterations and additions the Catherine McAuley and Parramatta Marist schools , in Darcy Street. The total number of students on the site would be 2510. The estimated cost of construction is $40,928, 466.
