Parramatta. $200,000 grant to new link

A $200,000 NSW Government grant would be used to construct a 270-metre link on the southern bank of the Parramatta River between the RiverCat Wharf, at Charles Street, in the CBD, to Macarthur Street to the east of the city. The government recently acquired four parcels of riverfront land at George Street to make this new public link possible,” said Parramatta MP, Tanya Gadiel. The pedestrian and cycle pathway would include seating, picnic facilities, landscaping and interpretative artworks .
