Moorebank. $10 million consolidation

Joyce Foam, a specialist manufacturer of flexible foam products for the furniture, bedding, automotive and other specialist industries, will base all its Australian manufacturing at its Moorebank head office, following a $10 million consolidation of its activities. The company currently operates four foam manufacturing plants in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide and a sales and conversion facility in Melbourne. The company will maintain a sales and conversion operation in all states. Centralising production at Moorebank will support 69 jobs. The company would introduce an advanced foam manufacturing process, a first for the Australian foam market, giving it a global best practice in foam manufacturing, the Minister for State and Regional Development, Ian Macdonald, said.
